Note: I HATE THIS SCRAPBOOK CRAP! I don't post random doodles and crap sketches that I don't want people to look at, I post stuff because I want it to be SEEN. These 'scraps' don't even show up on my main page. I mean, common, who honestly is going to go around into other people's pages and go digging into their scrapbook? If it isn't where everything else is, that means you have to go out of your way to find it, and most people are too lazy to do that.
So, I am posting this here, though it is also in my scrapbook. I want this to be seen, not shoved away in some dark corner. Delete this if you want to, Admin. Nyeeehhh.

*coughs* yes. Anyway. Back to your normally scheduled description:

I'm working on developing my style for these cute dragons...at the moment, faces, expressions, horns, manes, beards, etc etc. I'll be doing another one of these with all female dragons.
Thinkin' of taking them and making a childrens book or something...I've been wanting to do so for YEARS, but never had any ideas. Suddenly I have a BUNCH of ideas, and I think it's quite feasable...
*squee*
Interesting tidbit: If you'll look to the bottom you can spot what is actually a really old dragon...big mane and horns and such. In me stories, dragon horns never quite stop growing, though they certainly slow down in their rate after the first 20 years or so(their young age about the same rate as humans, though they live to be hundreds of years old). When they get to be too big and the dragons too old to hold them up, they are forced to cut them down and file what's left into small, thick points. When formal occasions come up, or when simply trying to look their best, they rig up a harnass to put their old horns back over the stubs.
Seeing as once the horns are cut off they don't grow any larger, there becomes a sort of pride thing going on with how big one's chopped off horns are. The larger they are, the longer a dragon went before being forced to chop them off, which shows strength. They aren't quite as silly as humans when it comes to pride, however, and honestly chop off their horns when they become a liability rather than pushing the limit. Older dragons in general who have their horns chopped off, instead of rediculed for having to do so, are greatly revered and respected for it shows their age. Thus it shows little shame in chopping them off at the first sign of neck/back problem.
^_^
More stuff like this to come.
