Babysitting

Well, it took many, many hours to make this bloody thing. It started out as sortof a doodle...then it grew into some sort of test for myself to see how well I could focus on backgrounds for these dragons...and it wound up being, as Yume calls it, a friggin' MURAL.
MEH.
Anyway...the picture itself is nothing in particular. A male dragon opted to babysit the friends' squirmies. There's one of his down there too...the lil female on top of the log there.
This is 50% of the original size...it's...big...

Errrm...what else...
Yeah, I wound up cheating on the grass by using Photoshop. I WAS going to, and actually started to paint the grass like I had everything else...but dear god I'm glad I didn't do that to myself. I still wound up making it a little complicated by making the grass various colors and whatnot. I thought about going in after and adding flowers and field grasses and varying things but...
Yanno...
I think I'm done with this fekkin' picture.

I also took care, as I have thus far and plan on continuing to do so, to make sure that any fur patterns on my dragons are not instantly recognizable as known terran animal patterns.
